Steve Kern

Steve Kern has been referred to as a modern day “Renaissance Man.” He has been recognized for his many talents as an author, educator, entertainer, musician, songwriter, composer, poet, humanitarian, environmentalist and whole health specialist. Steve has always been close to nature and inspired by the human spirit. He is dedicated to promoting the belief that the world can be a better place if we all do our part. One person can make a difference!

In a humble home, on a country road in Santa Rosa, California, Steven Robert John Kern was born. Steve has carried the nickname “Little John” since grammar school days. This was partially due to the remarkable resemblance to John Denver. Music, Kids, Nature and Spirituality have always been a vital part of Steve’s life from early grade school to present time. He is a multi-talented educator and musician using humor and eclectic teaching style, generating students to want to learn more.

Steve is able to use gentle; yet, powerful and creative inspiration to be a catalyst for those around him, both as a teacher and a student. This is communicated in his teachings, stories and live music performances.

· Educated over 30,000 annually during the 1980's

and computer.

· Developed and implemented music program to 1,500 children weekly, Choir, Band, Orchestra, Song Flutes, Theory and music appreciation.

· Music Director to 500 children choirs K-6 grades.

· Designed and implemented National Fire Prevention and Earthquake Safety to 12,000 children in one week, annually.

· Educator to 75 language groups, children to seniors

· Instructor to Juvenile Court School High School Students

· Community Educator to seniors regarding energy conservation.

· Founder and Creator of International Pen Pal Program called: E.L.F. (Elementary Little Friends).

· Team Building Instructor of Group Games for Corporations , Churches and Schools. Designed 35 New Games never played before - unless played with my company.

Humanitarian & Environmentalist:

· Created Social Service agencies for Physical and Mental Disabled children, teens and adults

· Liaison represented 135 agencies to State Steering Committee.

· Community liaison developed affordable housing for low income families.

· Developed Tri-County Housing Education program for low income renters.

· Social Worker for AFDC (Aid to Familes with Dependent Children) emergency and crisis intervention with clients.

· Volunteer and fundraiser to thousands of organizations across the world who helping people, individuals, nature.

· Founder of Santa Clara County Clowns Around Club, since 1978.

· Youth Minister for multiple Churches
